Truth on the record

Privacy Policy

Frank is built on one promise: your data is yours. This page is the long version of that — in plain English, no buried clauses.

Last updated: June 25, 2026

The short version

We don't sell or rent your personal data. We don't train AI on your resume. We don't track whether your resume was opened unless you switch that on. The only place your application content goes is to the AI that writes your feedback — and it can't train on it either.

01

Who we are

Frank is operated by Ali Asadullayev ("Frank", "we", "us"). If you have any question about this policy or your data, reach us at asadullayev.finance@gmail.com.

02

What we collect

Application content. The resumes, CVs, cover letters, job descriptions, and answers you paste or upload so Frank can review them. If you upload a PDF or image, that file counts as application content.

Contact details. When you create an account, the email address (and name, if you give it) you provide.

Basic technical data. Standard information your browser sends — device type, browser, and the pages you visit — used to keep Frank running and spot problems. We keep this minimal.

Payment information. When you buy credits, your payment is handled entirely by our payment provider, Paddle. Paddle collects your card details directly and securely — Frank never sees or stores your full card number. We only receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded.

03

How we use it

We use what you give us to:

— Generate your feedback, score, and mock-interview responses.

— Operate, secure, and improve Frank.

— Reply to you, if you've contacted us or asked to be kept in the loop.

That's the whole list. We don't repurpose your application content for anything else.

04

The AI that reads your application

To produce your feedback, Frank sends your application content to our AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude). This is the honest part most tools hide, so here it is straight:

— Anthropic processes your content under its commercial API terms, which means it does not use your content to train its AI models.

— It retains content only briefly, to monitor for misuse and meet legal obligations — not to build a profile of you.

You can read Anthropic's own terms at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. Apart from this processing, we don't share your application content with anyone.

05

What we never do

— We never sell or rent your personal data. Not to recruiters, not to advertisers, not to data brokers.

— We never train our own or anyone's AI on your resume or application content.

— We never secretly track whether someone opened your resume. Frank's "receipts" feature is strictly opt-in and visible to you.

06

Aggregate insights (Corporate Trends)

Frank may combine anonymized information from many applications into aggregate statistics — for example, score distributions for a role, the skills most often missing, or how frequently salaries are listed in an industry.

These statistics never identify you. We only report patterns across large groups, and we publish a figure only when the group behind it is big enough that no single person can be singled out.

We may share or sell these aggregate insights to employers as part of our Corporate Trends product. To be clear about where the line sits: we sell the patterns, never the people. Your individual resume, name, and applications are never part of what we sell.

Your data is included in these aggregates only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time from your privacy settings, or by emailing us.

07

How long we keep things

Application content is used to generate your feedback and is not kept beyond what that requires. Uploaded files are discarded after they're processed.

Contact details are kept for as long as you have an account. Delete your account, or ask us, and they're gone.

When you delete your data, we delete it — we don't keep shadow copies.

08

Cookies & tracking

Frank uses only the cookies needed to make the site work (and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to count visits). We don't use advertising trackers or sell tracking data. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

09

Your rights

You can ask us to:

— Show you what data we hold about you.

— Correct it, or delete it.

— Send you a copy in a portable format.

— Stop using it for a particular purpose.

Email asadullayev.finance@gmail.com and we'll handle it. If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), these rights are guaranteed to you by law — and we honour them for everyone anyway.

10

Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures and send it over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small precisely to limit the risk.

11

Where your data is processed

Frank is operated from Azerbaijan, and Frank and its providers may process your data on servers outside your home country — including the United States (where Anthropic operates) and the EU/UK (where Paddle processes payments). Wherever it's processed, this policy and its protections still apply.

12

Children

Frank isn't intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used Frank, contact us and we'll remove their data.

13

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll make a clear announcement. Continuing to use Frank after a change means you accept the updated policy.
